Minicourse “Large index subspaces in Banach spaces of analytic functions“
St. Petersburg State University and Euler International Mathematical Institute are happy to announce a new minicourse, headed by Alexander Borichev. Lectures (120 minutes each) are scheduled on Thursday, Wednesday, December 15, Thursday, December 16, Friday, December 17 and Saturday, December 18, starting at 5.30 pm. Course description
For different Hilbert (Banach) spaces of analytic functions we discuss the structure of their lattice of z-invariant subspaces, and, in particular, such subspaces of large index. Mainly we are interested in radial weighted Bergman spaces. To prove the existence of large index subspaces, we use several methods, mainly using complex analysis techniques.
Everyone is welcome!
