Prof. Emmanuel Dror Farjoun (Einstein Institute of Mathematics, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel) “The Bousfield Kan completion as an infinity terminal monad”. 

We give a universal property of the well-known Bousfield-Kan R-homology completion functor. Further, it turns out  that in any nice infinity category one can associate with every monad M, a completion functor which is characterized as a terminal monad that preserves the image of the give monad M. In addition, we consider the concept of M-nilpotent objects, and pro-M-nilpotent completion.  This extends the main properties of the classical BK construction to generalized homology theories, equivariant homology  and beyond.
